poor Lucy has had a nasty reaction to penicillin. She was taking it for another ear infection and on the sixth day came out in a rash. The rash turned into hives and covered her little body. She was so brave and got on with it. She went to school so we could see her in her first play, the nativity. She was a fire dancer, and so cute with it she waved at us proudly and flicked her flames about.
the girls are already massively excited about Christmas and i cant wait too!!

Cheeky boy!!
The other day, George thinks he has snuck out of the kitchen with a pack of bread rolls. I followed him into the lounge. He has taken apart his toy broom and is using the handle to attempt to stab the pack open!!! The guilt on his face when i busted him was priceless! He has also discovered that he can get on to the nest of tables next to the tv stand. He knows he isnot allowed to.....but he does it anyway,!!
Another of his current faces is to go in the garden. Wave hello to the fish and go and wave hello to the guineas, especially if he can get the cage open. Cutest thing is, he walks up the path waving even before he gets there, he enjoys it so much!!

Lucy's first day at school
Yesterday was Lucy's first day. She was so excited and couldn't wait to get there and be like her sister. It wad completely different to playschool, which she didn't. Ever really want to go to!! We had to wait about after dropping off Amelia at her class and Lucy went to talk to the other girls, when the time came to go in, we said goodbye at the door and she strode in like she had been doing it for years!! She didn't even say hello to her teacher, she just walked over and put her book bag in her tray and went off to play. It was a mixture of pride, relief and a little sense of loss, so of course, i cried!!! She was only there for two hours but she was full of it afterwards and absolutely loved it. Poor old George was a bit lost without her and stuck to me even more than usual!!
I can't see that she will have any problems with school, she will love it just like Amelia x

playing in the garden and Amelia has asked the origins of the phantom of the opera and asked how his face was disfigured... When i replied that some people are just born with funny faces, she looked at me cheekily and said, 'like you?' cheeky madam!!! She also couldn't eat her lunch roll, it was too chewy - when i said it was fine for me she retorted, 'its alright for you but ive got little teeth!'

George and the fruit
He just loves getting the fruit down from the side in the kitchen - so much so that we have had to move the fruit bowl as i kept finding bits of fruit with poke holes or small teeth marks in! He also loves to crawl in and pull the plinth out from under the shelves, and get into any cupboards he can. He can climb up on the settee now and gets so excited to be chased and to stand himself up on the settee laughing.

He also has a funny way of saying sorry - if he does something naughty to me - hitting or trying to bite - i tell him no and he throws himself on me and puts his head on my lap - as if to throw himself on me in apology - its so funny!

The Herd
We used to call Amelia and Lucy 'ThePack' as they are always together in the house, but now its The Herd as George follows them too! They are so great with him and let him join in, even if he just wants to chew all his stuff, he gets to be a little character in their games and they really look after him - he is a lucky little boy!

Long overdue update
Its been so long since I have written on here. Everything is great at the moment. Amelia is doing amazingly well at school, her reading is wonderful, her writing and pictures brilliant too. Lucy is her usual cheeky self, going through a funny phase at the moment - very clingy to me and funny about things - but happy and lovely. George is crawling, pulling himself up to stand and is very pleased with himself. He is the happiest little boy in the world, loves his sisters - and they spoil him rotten.
Here is a little video i took of Lucy & George - they had no idea i was videoing..
they love eachother!
